Celebrating 150 years

You must visit the fabulous “Making the Glasgow Style” exhibition at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, celebrating the 150th birthday of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Afterwards, come along to the iconic Willow Tea Room at 97 Buchanan Street and sit and relax in two of the interiors featured in the exhibition.

The Willow Tea Rooms have recreated the Ladies Luncheon Room and the Chinese Room from the original Mackintosh designed Ingram Street Tea Rooms. In the White Dining Room and Blue Room, as these interiors are respectively known, you’ll enjoy table service in two settings from a bygone era.  Treat yourself to breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea, as well as a huge selection of traditional baking from our in-house bakery.

Admire the leaded glass framed screens, the CCC (Catherine Cranston Cochrane) lights, the distinctive high backed chairs and lots more…
