We’ve Joined the Upper Circle…..

We are delighted to be part of SPT Subway’s Upper Circle.  So what is it and how does it work?  It’s a loyalty scheme that the Glasgow Subway has in place for its Smartcard holders.  So if you are a Smartcard holder and are visiting the Willow Tea Rooms simply show us your Smartcard when ordering and we will give you 10% of your food bill.

For lots for more information on all the offers available through the scheme visit http://www.spt.co.uk/smartUpperCircle/

Working with our local suppliers is something we are very proud of at the Willow Tea Rooms.  They are always willing to help us when we want to try something different.

Couple of new tasty dishes coming later this week….but don’t worry all your favourites are still there!

Here I am with Sheila & Lynne working on the menus …the empire was soon eaten after the photo was taken!

I am thrilled to be appointed as the new Chair of Glasgow’s Leading Attractions (GLA).  I was one of the founding members of GLA many, many, many years ago and is such an honour to still be involved in the group and to work with some of the most amazing people from the fantastic attractions we have in and around our city.

Along with my two vice-chairs, Hollie Russell from Celtic Park and Lee Scott from the Hunterian, our Treasurer Colin Lobban from the Scottish Football Museum at Hampden, and all the members we look forward to making every day amazing at our attractions.

Check out our website at www.glasgowsleadingattractions.com  and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for lots of great ideas of things to do, we have something for all the family.

On Friday, I went along to a talk by Jo Malone to celebrate the launch of her new range Jo Loves.  Listening to Jo, how she started in business and the enthusiasm that she still has today was so good.  What struck me was some of the similarities with my own life.  Jo’s perfumes start at her kitchen table….and as everyone who knows me will say that’s Anne!  The kitchen is my favourite room in the house, its where I spend all my time trying out new ideas.  And it’s where David, my husband, sits, glass of wine in hand listening to me and sampling the new dishes!
